LobotoME - Goods To Keep Me Sane

Hey Girl!

April.4.2010     The I Am Beautiful Issue

Wow! April (it’s April already?) is off and running. Official Food and Wine Month, hosted by Grape Productions, there are going to be a ton of chances to sip tasty new wines paired with phenomenal food. Not to mention a ton of chances to give back and mingle with the gals.

We sat down with Susan Nethero, Bra Whisperer, and had a blast. She showed us how to get the best bra to make us feel beautiful, confident and sexy. We also got to (finally) meet Dina Zeckhausen, founder of EDIN, Eating Disorder Information Network, who told us to have confidence when things get kinda sucky (tax season, anybody?).

Most of all, we’re dedicating this issue to proclaiming it loud and proud, “I am beautiful!”

My Voice is Strong chats with Nedra Rhone, fashion and shopping writer at AJC (best job ever, right?), and Lariadi de Artiste, fashion designer who just launched her first-ever line of designer couture clutches (totally cute!).

Oh, and we made our bras strong this week, too, and stepped in for a FREE bra-makeover at Intimacy with Susan Nethero, fondly called the bra-whisperer by Oprah.

Super excited about the first official upload. Like we said before, if you got our awesome little once-a-year-we-promise eblast, My Voice is Strong gets you fresh content every two weeks.

This week will knock your socks off. We sat down with Blane Bachelor, brains behind Atlanta’s hottest relationship advice column, Ask a Bachelor,  and Rachel Pepper, designer of KiNGFLY handbags that we go crazy for.

One girl gets heated about the Kindle, we got fresh pix from the Launch partay, and we’re super excited to be hitting the town and using our voices this week at the first-ever Media Playground networking (Mar 10, 7pm) and the March is for Women Advocacy Day for a super awesome initiative, Our Voice Beyond Choice.
