At your launch I had only read your Facebook portions of My Voice Is Strong — I love everything about this and it is so obvious how hard you have worked. I love that your voice is all over this, your writing, all of it. And thank you for posting the video — I have had some really sweet responses from some sad stories, but I see it helping and validating what women (and several men) feel and fear about their relationships.

Bethers. You are amazing. I never thought my skateboarding tomboy turned ballarina friend would be to meaningful to so many women. I love you and I am so happy for you and proud of you. I wish you the best with all the roads you travel on and hope that someday our paths will cross again and we will find the friendship we had long ago.
